Forum:Need help ironing out some stuff
Forums: Index → Community help
Hello,
The USNW Wiki has decided to move its wiki from our outgoing hosts Wikkii to here in Shoutwiki. However, we have a few things that needs to be ironed out before the situation becomes normal.
(solved) Original Wiki[edit source]
In July of 2013, an old account of mine (I also need help merging the account 'ArrowHead3' to this account) created "en.usnw-wiki.shoutwiki.com". I have not realized that wiki had the en. counterpart before we really moved the wiki here at Shoutwiki. I am requesting that the en. counterpart to be deleted and the current English Version of the USNW wiki be moved to the en. prefix. This leads us to the second request.
- Can you send this via Special:Contact and our Customer Support Team should be able to sort this out for you. --Lewis Cawte (talk) 10:00, 20 May 2014 (UTC)
- Deleted the original en.usnw-wiki and moved the new one there. Also fixed the interwiki on jp.usnw-wiki to the new site. User accounts can't be merged so you might as well just forget the old one :)--Cook879 talk 00:46, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

(solved) Inter language prefixes[edit source]
Not a long time ago, after USNW moved to the new wiki, I have also created a Japanese prefixed version with the link ja.usnw-wiki. The problem is, we have no idea how to do Inter language prefixing so we might need some help to the Shoutwiki admins about the connection of en.usnw-wiki to ja.usnw-wiki. Thanks!

Currently our team is having difficulty fixing the navboxes, as it involved some #invoke function. Can anyone help us?

- I'm not an expert, but I think #invoke comes from Scribunto, the Lua extension? I was going to look into installing that on ShoutWiki a while back but got side tracked or something. Might be SMW, not entirely sure. If it is Scribunto, it is something I planned to look into again when 1.23 is fully released which will be in about a week and a half's time? --Lewis Cawte (talk) 09:59, 20 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the assurance, our guys have been also looking at this one if it is a scribunto extension or not ArrowHead (talk) 02:23, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
