Hi, I have slight problem on my Kánon Wiki. The Statistics shows I have 463 articles there, but in fact there are only 253. That's 210 articles surplus. I have checked Special:Allpages which is showing only that 253 articles. I have used Special:Nuke several times in the past and I think this could cause the problem (nuked articles showing in the statistics as an existing ones). For potential solution thanks in advance :) --Silesianus (talk) 08:55, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
- The page count shown in statistics and {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} isn't exactly the number of articles in Main:. While the count includes only articles that have at least one internal page link, it also counts all articles that have ever had at least one internal page link, including articles that have since been deleted. See Manual:Article count and Manual:$wgArticleCountMethod. (BTW,
null
for $wgArticleCountMethod is the same as'link'
.) --Saftzie (talk) 19:47, 6 October 2015 (UTC)- No, my other wikis (Rodokmen and Sport) show the right number of articles, no matter how many articles with at least one internal page link were deleted. As was Kanon Wiki till the last big deletion at the beginning of September. --Silesianus (talk) 07:16, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
